What is Clash of Clans?
Clash of Clans is a strategy game for phones by Supercell, out since 2012. Players build a village, train troops such as barbarians and wizards, and attack other players' villages. Players join clans, groups that chat and fight Clan Wars together.

Short answer: It's 13+ on the App Store and Everyone 10+ on Google Play.

Chat and purchases
Clans chat with each other, and Common Sense Media notes the live chat can include iffy language. On Apple's App Store, gems cost $0.99 to $19.99 and the Gold Pass $4.99 to $6.99. Google Play's description says some purchasable items are random items. Supercell's terms say a guardian must agree for players below the age of majority and is responsible for purchases by minors. We found no government action against Clash of Clans as of October 2026.
