The habit kids may copy: click to the next one

Starfall's activities move along quickly with a tap. When a word is hard, it's easy to click ahead instead of trying again.

Try tonight: one more try

Pick one tricky word from a book. Sound it out together slowly, and when it doesn't work, say: "Not yet. Let's try one more time." Praise the trying, not the right answer. In our program, this is the lesson "Not Yet": the trying matters.
