What is Berry Avenue?

Short answer: A Roblox role-play town where players pick houses and cars and act out daily life with other players.

Its description invites players to become a student at the high school, work at the grocery store, "Rob the bank or become a police officer," or treat patients at the hospital. As of October 22, 2026, it had about 8.9 billion visits and about 39,900 players online at once.

Role-play, dating, and a school's warning

Short answer: A UK school warned parents about Berry Avenue in 2025; Roblox's rules ban seeking romantic connections.

In a June 20, 2025, newsletter, Barnsbury Primary School in Surrey, England, wrote that Berry Avenue had "raised serious safeguarding concerns" and had been linked to inappropriate content, unfiltered chat, and themes "including online dating and interactions with strangers." It mentioned a serious incident at another local school without details. Roblox's Community Standards say Roblox "isn't the place for seeking offline or online romantic connections."

We found no government action against Berry Avenue. Several US states have sued Roblox, the platform; Roblox disputes the claims. More: Roblox.

The habit kids may copy: robber or police officer

Berry Avenue's own description lists both: rob the bank, or become a police officer.

Try tonight: pick a road

Play "town" with toys. When a toy finds a lost wallet, stop and ask: "There are two roads. What could you do, and what happens next on each one?" Let your child choose and act it out. In our program, this is the lesson "Two Roads": noticing that there's a choice.
