Why young kids know Demon Slayer
The characters are everywhere: toys, costumes, school supplies, and short clips online. Many young kids know the sword moves and the names of the "breathing" techniques without having watched the show.
The habit kids may copy: swords first
In Demon Slayer, every problem is a fight. Some kids bring the sword moves to the playground, with sticks.
Try tonight: the real breathing technique
Tanjiro's power starts with breathing. Make it yours: "Breathe in for four. Out for four. Now decide." In our program, this is the lesson "The Pause Button": stop, breathe, choose.
