What Encanto is about
Encanto is a 2021 Walt Disney Animation Studios musical with songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The Madrigal family in Colombia has magical gifts, except for Mirabel. When she learns the family is losing its magic, she sets out to save it. It came out in US theaters on November 24, 2021, then on Disney+ a month later, and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
