Lawsuits and investigations
In 2024, Ontario's Ministry of Labour investigated an injury on the Toronto set of Beast Games, where a worker was hit by falling wood, and issued requirements to two employers, CTV News and Global News reported. This was a workplace-safety matter, not a child-safety one.
Separately, five anonymous contestants filed a private class action in Los Angeles in September 2024 against MrBeast's production company and Amazon, alleging unsafe conditions, unpaid wages, and sexual harassment. We couldn't confirm its current status. We found no FTC or state attorney general action about children.
The habit kids may copy: bigger is better
The videos are built around huge prizes and extreme challenges. The bigger the stunt, the bigger the reward.
