What Chainsaw Man is about
Chainsaw Man is a Japanese anime by studio MAPPA, based on Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga. Its hero, Denji, can turn parts of his body into chainsaws and hunts devils. The 12-episode series aired from October to December 2022. The film Reze Arc came out in US theaters in October 2025 and has been available to buy or rent digitally since December 2025. A sequel, the "Assassins Arc," was announced in December 2025; as of October 2026 we couldn't confirm a date.
