Try tonight: stop means stop
Agree on one rule for chasing games: "Stop means stop." Practice it once: run, hear "stop," freeze. In our program, this is the lesson "Fair Play": a game is fun only when it's fun for everyone.
What the research says
There's no research on Poppy Playtime and young children. The World Health Organization recommends no more than 1 hour of sedentary screen time a day for children ages 2 to 4, and says less is better (WHO, 2019). A 2022 meta-analysis of 87 studies with about 159,000 children ages 12 and under found that more screen time was linked to slightly more behavior problems; the link was small and doesn't show cause and effect.
