Chat and purchases

Up to 50 players share a server, and Roblox chat is available. Since January 7, 2026, Roblox requires an age check (facial age estimation) to use chat; players can chat only with their own and nearby age groups, and chat is off by default for children under 9 unless a parent consents.

Roblox lists no game passes for Rainbow Friends; we couldn't confirm other Robux items. We found no government action against Rainbow Friends itself. At least ten state attorneys general sued Roblox, the platform, between August 2025 and June 2026, according to a law-firm tracker; these are allegations, and no court has found Roblox liable.
